Physical exam findings in alcoholic patients may include chronic changes such as spider hemangiomas/angiomata, telangiectasias, caput medusa, dupuytren contractures, and palmar erythema whereas findings in acute alcohol withdrawal may include tremor, diaphoresis, vomiting, headache, hallucinations and seizures.
