We see a lot of patients with headaches, most of which are benign and not life threatening. However the challenge in our jobs is finding the needle in the haystack...and subarachnoid hemorrhage is life threatening cause of headache that we simply cannot miss. Matt Delaney sits down with Dr.Salim Rezaie to discuss a well validated clinical prediction rule to help risk stratify patients and estimate their pre-test probability, to determine who needs imaging and further workup.
