Use of dual therapy Amoxil 1G TDS for 5days and. Azithyomycin 1G daily for 5Days would hopefully reduce fetal risk .

I was wondering, for high risk adults, what does the addition of a beta lactam antibiotic provide vs just using Doxycycline alone? It seems that Doxycycline covers the typical pathogens for CAP as well as atypicals, so why not do this alone? Thanks so much!
