Great review on the Tattoo complications topic. One thing that I have run into a couple of times were persons with metallic pigment that reacted a bit in an MRI machine. I have asked a radiologist friend about this and indeed, on rare occasion there may be a bit of irritation somewhat like a welt when these tattoos are exposed to the magnet in the MRI machine.
