I practice in Washington State. I've often seen Unisom (doxylamine) 12.5 to 25mg added at bedtime to the B6. This wasn't mentioned in the segment. I wonder if this is used in either Dr. Jones or Dr. Frayha's practice? Thoughts on it's use? Thanks

Hi Carrie. Thanks for your excellent question. It does look like the combination of doxylamine plus vitamin B6 is recommended when B6 alone is not enough to treat a pregnant woman's nausea. There's an interesting discussion of it in this article: https://www.aafp.org/afp/2003/0701/p121.html. I get to see Dr. Jones this week, and I'll ask her about her practice in person!
