Andrew and cardiologist Dr. Paul Vaikus discuss bridging oral anticoagulation in several clinical contexts (peri-operative, anticoagulation initiation in thrombosis, anticoagulation initiation in atrial fibrillation). Current evidence does not support routine bridging with parenteral anticoagulants.
