A two-dose regime of non-valent HPV vaccine is at least as effective as the traditionally recommended 3 dose regime.

Stephen P. -

Is the 2 dose schedule only for 9 to 14 yr olds or can we extrapolate to 9 to 26?

Heidi J., MD -

Andrew Buelt's reply: I would say yes you could HOWEVER, this would then mean you are using inclusion drift. Meaning you are taking evidence that is specific for one population and trying to make it work for another population. There are multiple problems with this and the main one being that when you do the studies on those that were not initially included often you get different results. For now I would stick with still trying to get those 15-26 yrs old 3 vaccine if possible. With that being said I wouldn't kill myself or my staff in trying to get them back for the third and final shot.
