Not sure if you saw review of Testosterone in Mayo Clinic Proceedings February 2015 . All authors ties to drug company . Conclude it is the greatest thing since sliced bread and no relationship to CV health except maybe in a positive way

Pharma spends over $100M each year promoting these products. I certainly wouldn't want to suggest that this study is an example of that, but as you point out, it gives one pause when even the potential of conflict of interest is present. Thanks for pointing out that concern. What is clear is the evidence out there is sketchy. That being the case, continued caution in prescribing is appropriate, in my opinion.
